And right now, we’re on the lookout for a Consultant or Senior Ecologist who shares our love for botany, habitats, and making a positive difference through our work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You won’t be stuck behind a desk all day – you’ll be:

• Leading and delivering a range of ecology projects
• Conducting botanical and habitat surveys, including UKHab, condition assessments and NVC
• Working on exciting conservation and development-led projects
• Producing BNG Reports, Biodiversity Gain Plans, HMMPs and helping shape amazing landscapes
• Acting as the main client contact, helping them meet Biodiversity Net Gain goals
• Collaborating closely with our in-house landscape architects for truly joined-up design thinking

Who We’re Looking For:

Whether you’re an experienced Consultant or ready to step into a Senior role, we’re after someone who:

• Has a degree in a relevant subject and CIEEM membership
• Has 3+ years (Consultant) or 5+ years (Senior) of consultancy experience
• Can conduct UKHab surveys and assess habitat condition
• Has FISC Level 3 (or higher!)
• Has great attention to detail, excellent report writing skills, and thrives in a collaborative, friendly team
• Has experience of calculating BNG using the Statutory Metric
• Loves plants! And wants to develop that skill with mentoring from our in-house botanical lead (who also happens to be Wiltshire’s vice county recorder for vascular plants )
