Mark Sherlock

Mark qualified in woodland estate management back in 1992 and worked as a tree surgeon, running his own business and subcontracting for other companies before joining Johns Associates in January 2016.

As Lead Countryside consultant, Mark manages a range of projects that require an in-depth knowledge of trees and habitat management and creation. He enjoys being out on site doing the practical side of the work during the implementation stage. Mark now specialises in the control of invasive, non native species and is currently working towards becoming a qualified technician in the control of Japanese Knotweed.

He holds all relevant NPTC and Lantra qualifications relevant to his job role.

Out of work, Mark enjoys running, walking and spending time with his young family. He is an enthusiast in all things wildlife, especially birds of prey. He holds a falconry qualification which he achieved whilst doing voluntary work for the Hawk Conservancy.
