Jacob Scoble, BSc MCIWEM

Jacob is a Geospatial Analyst with his main focus being GIS, environmental assessments, planning and hydrology.  Jacob graduated with a 1st class BSc in Geography which has provided him with a strong and practical foundation in physical geography, spatial mapping, hydrology and geomorphological processes, field investigations, data collection and management and reporting.

Jacob is the operational lead for GIS Services, providing support across the company including Biodiversity Net Gain, mapping, data analysis and presenting outputs for a wide range of projects.  These include planning submissions, environmental risk assessments, flood risk strategies and protected species licence applications, with ongoing review, analysis and management of large datasets.

Jacob has a keen eye for detail and prides himself on ensuring the highest standard of work. He is experienced in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, CAD, Python and RMarkdown. Jacob also provides QGIS Training for colleagues.

 In his spare time Jacob enjoys walking, photography, watching low-budget 80s action films with his friends, and reading a range of comics and graphic novels.
